I love cake, always take Marks and Spencer cake to Tenerife and eat it on Christmas day around the pool.

Im going over to tenerife on the 31st of dec arriving about 1ish in the afternoon stayed for a week at the california apartments for a week in playa de las americas. Problem is, its my boyfriends 25th on January the 1st and id so love to surprise him with a birthday cake! But id of prefered to arrange it before i left the uk nearer the time so i was defo sure that it was either going to be delivered to the hotel or if its sumwhere near by i could pick it up? Does any1 know any email addresses, phone numbers, websites anything of a bakery/cake making place thats in playa de las americas i would be much appreciated.

the cake cost 35 euros and was about 12 inches square and about 5 inches deep, it was vanilla sponge with jam and cream and was covered in butter icing, yum yum!
I phoned them thursday 2nd nov and picked the cake upon saturday 4th nov, very good service and very accomodating people.
I gave them a photo of my friend (who will be 40)from her primary school days when i was over a few weeks ago for them to copy on to the cake.
The new owners are from England and were very helpfull.
I collect the cake this Friday so will let you know what i think of the quality of the cake when i return home
i also need to order a birthday cake while we there and will be looking to book for the medieval night and the water park
and advice appreciated - and any further reports on the apartments to put my mind at rest
I know there was a thread regarding this a few weeks ago, but I cant find it. We are off to Tenerife tomorow and I need a birthday cake for my husband for the 1st of January. Any suggestions on where I would get one would be greatly appreciated, we are staying in Torviscas area
get yourself to a mercadona supermarket. they has lovely birthday cakes in there and very cheap too!
