My wife had 2 scans done in February this year. We had a word with the Doctor that visits the hotel that we stay in and he arranged an appointment at the Saida MRI scan clinic at Bambolim. She had the scans and we went back the next day to collect them. The cost for 2 scans was approx £104, and considering that the exchange rate was poor at the time we thought it was a bargain.
We knew he had a neurological consultants appointment 2 weeks after our return (this is following a failed orthapaedic op on his spinal cord) Of course the first thing the doc said was you will need a new MRI scan to see if things have changed. We were delighted when she not only accepted the Goan scan but acting upon the scan promised my husband the op he needed to relieve him of the pain he had been suffering for the 5 previous years. My hubby has been virtually pain free since that op in March 2005. Needless to say we sent the consultant a post card from Goa in December!!
