Hi All!
I'm trying to decide where to go for summer 2007 and hopefully you can help me with some questions.
What is France like during the last two weeks of August? Is it hot and crowded? Usually we've gone end June or start of July when school ends for the kids.
Has anyone been to La Garangeoire in St Julien des Landes? The brochure looks good but it's not a site that I've come across very much on HT.
Any info would be appreciated.I presume Les ecureuils is a decent site with plenty to do for children.

The Med coast at this time of year is becoming more unstable with some areas getting downpours of up to a months rain in a couple of hours
that said it is generally a lot hotter than the UK and there aren't the crouds of July /beginning of August as France goes back to worrk around the 20th

Being Irish, I'm used to a few wet days but good grief, that's seriously scary!

Don't worry that was just one 2 hour storm and the only real rain we had in 3 weeks travelling
