If you are looking for a hotel with good disabled acces you cant go far wrong with either the Vulcano or the Bitacora. I would suggest the Vulcano as that tends to have older clients so you wont be bothered with too many children. Also the shops are a 5 minute stroll away, the path is right by the side of the Vulcano. Food is of a good quality in both hotels too.

Jardin Tropical is all steps and hills. Keep away from that area,

Take care,

We have just returned from the bahia princess hotel in costa adeje, and yes there are alot of steps down to the restaurant, there are a number of lifts and ramps around the place, my father has walking difficulties but doesnt need a wheel chair and the place would be wheel chair friendly I reckon, the staff are brilliant there and would be really helpful.
As regards to the area, there is a market but its moved not sure where to, but there are shops in the area, and apart from a bank down to the beach most other roads are flat. I loved the area and yes its quietish but theres more on your doorstep. Hope this helps.
If you need any more recommends in that area let me know because we found some excellent cafes and bars.

noble.bid - yes, if you can recommend some restaurants/bars - would be great, my Dad likes a drink, and good food.
What about the Guayamina? there are good & bad reports on the reviews?

Goanne we do have recommended bars and restaurant section in the forum at the top of the first page. I'm sure if you look through it you will see what the members have been recommending over the past few months.

Hiya Goanne
As far as i know the vulcano has mainly older clients. I personally have stayed at the Bitacora because being your age group myself, I found it a little more lively for myself and the kids. As for entertainment its ok, some good some naff but everyone is different. There are plenty of places for entertainment though if the hotel stuff isnt your thing.
