I wouldn't worry about the Princesa Dacil. We stayed there for three nights in April and it was fine. Not the height of luxury but we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and how friendly and helpful the reception staff were. We asked for a high room and got a huge room on the 15th floor with aircon and fantastic views. We only paid for a standard room so it pays to ask, you might get upgraded. The food was fine, nothing to rave about but perfectly acceptable, with one exception. Do not have the cooked breakfast, it was awful. However, there are plenty of alternatives, cereals, various breads and rolls, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt etc. I would advise getting to the restaurant when they start serving the meals or wait until you see the chef put out a fresh batch of whatever is on offer. Didn't sample the pool or the entertainment as we were busy doing other things. We thought it was well worth the £138 we paid for three nights half board for the two of us.
