Why not book the trip privately??Reps prices much more expensive

Not a bad idea.I have to admit i've always used the rep trips in the past on holidays, I don't suppose you could reccomend any at all??

Like al321 said, try doing it through the local Tour Operators and you will find that your party will be smaller and go on a smaller coach, the cost will be less, plus you will get more time at Ephesus. We found this out to our cost when we first went to Turkey, we stayed at Hisaronu and made the journey from there. Having just returned from Kusadasi, we did it from there using Dolmus and Taxi, then buying a Guide Book and seeing things we didn't on our organised trip.

We used the tour company in Chalis Beach through an agent in Hisaronu. I would never book through the package holiday company - they cost way too much.

The only thing to watch out for and we ask before we book is "What language(s) will the tour guide be using on this trip".

Many trips have a commentary in German which is not very helpful if you don't speak it.

Carol at Tungar Travel may do a trip there but I'm not too sure, she is British and she is located in the square opposite the Black Sea Restaurant. Hope this helps!
