My son is going to do a scrap book-that will be really exciting for him-and us!! I will keep my own diary too-I kept one last time I was there for 6 months-still haven't read it yet-it's a proper book.
This may be a silly question but do I need to take spade/back ball/lilo/fun things for the beach? Has anyone got any top tips for things to do with a 6 year old in Goa. I'm sure he is going to just love the experience of being there but for all the other times....?

Gets a lot more humid the later on in the season you go, bear this in mind and take extra precautions and you should be fine.

Hi - we took an 18month old toddler last year with no major traumas.

The flight was long but luckily she sat through the whole of it.

Food was fine chips, egg, beans etc.

The heat was fine (December) but spent most of the day under a brolley.

No problems with illness or mossies but very careful about how many gallons of repellent she was covered with at night.

Milk is available in cartons although nappies are not up to much, better to take from UK.

We did talk to another couple with a very small baby who had a fab time.

Any queries feel free to ask.

Driving in Goa is mental, but it's pretty slow mental - The roads aren't good enough for the drivers to get up to any real speed - the fasted I've seen on the clock in any taxi I've been in is about 70 kph about 40 mph - It just seems a lot faster :)

agreed but the accidents can be just as nasty as fast speed ...ive seen a few of those,

We are going in 4 weeks  to Goa-just having a re-read of this thread. I was wondering if anyone had any more ideas about tips or advice that hasnt been mentioned already, to amuse a 6 year old and ensure he has the best time possible? Thanks in advance.x We are staying at Varca Beach and have heard that it might be a bit quiet there-any recent information?
