If you're under 25 you'll now have to get a responsible adult to buy your beer for you as you kids arent grown up enough to handle alcohol.Edit

I'm imagining hordes of backpackers celebrating at a full Moon Party with nothing stronger than a bottle or Red Bull and a Diet Pepsi.
not very good for the tourist industry. I am imagining everyone taking their mums to the Full Moon parites!!
My boyfriend and I are 23 and 24 going Phuket in Dec! x
Alternativelt, just make friend swith one of the older single guys you will see hanging around in bars in Phuket and offer to buy then a beer if they order yours for you. Simple.
But in reality this law, if it does go ahead wont change anything with regards to foreign tourists - even though they may technically be breaking the law, the cops arent going to bust you for being under the influence of a Bacardi Breezer on Xmas Eve. At worst it'll probably mean that 12 year old Thai kidss cant buy been in the 7-eleven unless their Dad is a friend of the owner and a few predominantly Thai nightspots popular with middle class students in Bangkok will be clamped down on.

However, the ban on the advertising of alcoholic drinks in all media is still set to go ahead.
The tourist industry were obviously up in arms!
