Myself and my husband are planning on going to Tenerife (probably PDLA, Adeje, Los Cristianos area) with my parents who are teachers so thinking of Feb Half Term. We are hoping to go a couple of days early as it's MUCH cheaper.
Firstly can anyone recommend some good hotels in the area - we want somewhere nice and a bit classy but not too expensive and who don't cater for kids. Obviously being half term there will be lots about but we want to minimise the risk!
B&B would be fine as we like to sample different restaurants although most on Thomson and such are HB. Secondly we have been looking at doing it "DIY" and have found good deals on the Spring Hotels - Arona Gran we especially like at the moment. Problem is the flights are so expensive for the parents on the weekends - have tried BA, Thomson, Thomas Cook etc but does anyone know of any others who fly from Gatwick? At the moment it doesn't seem much cheaper than going through someone like Thomson!
