B&B Somerset/Devon area

I know this is a long way off but we are driving down to Cornwall from Suffolk for a week at the end of September 2007 and considering perhaps having a night or 2 en route in the Somerset/Devon area.

Has any one any recommendations please. Nothing too fancy or expensive - something like a farm or small guest house would do nicely.

Both sites do some fab b&b at great prices but with quality accommodation.

Many thanks for the info - I will take a look at the sites.

I am afraid I am the organised sort!! We have all our holidays booked for 2007 - hubby takes early retirement at the end of this year so thought we would get the hols sorted out so as we can budget for them!

If you come off at Junction 27 (M5) and head for Sampford Peverall, there is a lovely pub called the Globe Inn. It is past the train station turn off. Plus, it's very close to the motorway so you can jump back on when you leave!
