Hello all,
Thinking about doing some agrotourism next year and would really appreciate some advice.
We've done it before on the west side in Kathikas, but it was a bit remote, with few facilities. As we don't drive it was quite expensive to get anywhere (yes, I know we were avoiding the touristy areas, but still needed to get around and get provisions). £20 to Pafos each way made quite a hole in our funds. Anyway, this time we're looking at the Larnaca options.
Ideally, we're looking either for a village which has good facilities (tavernas, shops, cashpoint(?), etc), or one that isn't too far from a larger village which could provide them.
The options I've found are: Tochni, Kalavassos, Agioi Vavatsinias, Scarinou and Psematismenos (hope the spelling's OK!)
I know its cheating really - getting away from it all, while still wanting some home comforts, but if anyone could provide some info on any of the villages mentioned we'd be really grateful.
regards,
Richie
