Has anyone experienced the building works on the White Sands Spa Resort in the maldives. I am agitated because we had an invoice from H&J dated 30th November and the building works were not mentioned. Got another one today as have paid and made a small adjustment and it states that building works on the island commence December 2006 and will go on for two years. It says machinery may be used but all areas will be 'screened off' Of course I am worried about noise. After all the idea is a 'quiet' secluded island with little or no noise. Am thinking seriously of changing to another island!
