My husband bought rolex from Hari Oms in Calungute and we have also seen them in Ashokas in Candolim. Don't know about Rado
Were those fakes?
If not, they were very cheap originals! The one he bought had a movement just like Rolex (i.e. engineered, not battery) so you never know!
How much did he pay for them Candybabe? I may get a couple myself. I bought 4 fake watches in Turkey last June for £10.00p. 2 'Tag Heur' an 'Adidas' and a 'Breitling' all four are really expensive looking watches and I thought they would probably last a week or two after my holiday but to my amazement are still going strong.
Forgot to ask, where is Hari Oms located in Calangute?
We think the ones in Ashokas (next to Magnum hotel in Candolim) were very similar but only about 40 pounds but as he already had one, we did not take too much notice. I was too busy buying a diamond ring (much more important).
The Hari Om one is still going strong and certainly looks impressive.
Candybabe
Hari Om is just past the Nizmar as you are going towards Calangute.
I bought one from next door to the magnum ( sells handbags as you look on the right) ladies rolex was £25 had it 3 weeks and the strap fell apart was going to return it in february and just see what they say.
Went to a watch shop in Mapsa ended up buying a Timex divers watch. Was only £12 cheaper than UK but it's a 'real' watch and still going!
i dont want to pay over the top if they are not goo, but i shall have a look anyway, thanks everyone, as always your info is great and always appreciated
