Hi all,
I've booked a flight with Libra airways to Paphos in June this year and have since found out that I'm pregnant.
Will this cause a problem? Will I still be able to fly?
Can any one advise please....
Thanks...........
I think it depends on the airline but most won't let you fly if your seven months and over. I'd ring the airline if I were you.
Definitely check with the airline as each has its own rules. Also make sure your travel insurance is valid and covers any possible complications through your pregnancy. Best wishes and good luck.
Regulations vary from airline to airline so check which airline you are flying with. Most will refuse travel to anyone who is greater than 28 weeks pregnant on the date of your return flight.
Libra is a tour company rather than an airline. They generally use XL Airways for their flights. This is XL's policy; "From the 28th week of pregnancy a medical certificate must be obtained and taken to the check-in desk, stating the stage of pregnancy for your flights and confirming fitness to fly. Expectant mothers will not be accepted for carriage from the first day of week 34 of pregnancy. "
Hope that helps,
Darren
PS: Congratulations
