My 16 yr old daughter wants to spend the first week in July at this 18-30's caravan park at the end of her GCSEs with 5 girlfriends. I'm not at all keen! Apparently, at this time of the year the site makes provision for that age. Does anyone have any info, especially on security?

I'm afraid I can't answer your question but I am in exactly the same position my 16 year old wants to go away for a break with friends before they all go on to do different things.
There will be 6 of them in total and they started out planning a holiday to a Greek island, the it turned to a Blackpool weekend.
After careful consideration myself and hubby are letting them use our static caravan at Butlins Minehead, I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt us, as although it is a family orientated midweek break I can only hope and pray that they don't cause a nusiance, end up bringing any of the workers back for a party or worse and that they aren't lieing about all parents knowing no adults will be present.
As a rule we wouldn't let out to a group under the age of 25 so I'm bending the rules for my daughter .
I know exactly how you feel.

Thanks JudithCole. I feel quite brow-beaten. It's not good, but it is, if you know what I mean, to know that I'm not alone in feeling this type of dilema. Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed there or parent that have allowed the children to.
