I am posting this to warn anyone who is going to the LTI, I booked two weeks AI here through Jetline travel who I have used four times never a problem, I asked for a twin room specifically not the sports room desert view which are on offer, I duly paid the full amount assured that I would have either sea or pool view, within three days confirmation arrived (just before christmas).
On Saturday I received from jetline a holiday accommodation voucher which read Sports room desert view, now apparently these rooms last year were the rooms for the staff and near or next to the local sewerage plant. I rang up the hotel for information which confirmed my fears then I rang jetline, this is where it gets nasty, all I got from them was its a double room which you booked we cant tell the hotel where to put you etc and if you want to upgrade to a STANDARD ROOM its an £80 cancellation fee for the original room and £364 to upgrade, or £164 to move to another hotel, ( we decided on the calimera royal moderna), to say I was rather angry would be an under statement, I am of course pursuing this to the end as they sold me the wrong holiday but because we are going 15th March there was not a lot I could do as I didn't want to loose the holiday, I thought Jetline were a reputable company but it seems not. Please if you book the LTI make sure you know what room you have, It's my own fault should have gone back to the wonderful Hilton Nuweiba. you live and learn

So, do you know which tour operator it is with? We've used Jetline a few times and they usually say 'the booking will be a <whoever> package'. Then the letter from Jetline recommends any queries are followed up with the operator involved.
Perhaps you should call them.

You know, Pete, you know! Could you ever imagine a problem of whatever magnitude there, that would not be sorted to your satisfaction in a "trice"?
Yes I know what you mean with the acting on behalf of etc, but at the end of the day I have an invoice from jetline saying twin room with the type of room I booked and not what I eventually got if that makes sense, and I think had they not charged me the £80 cancellation fee even if it wasn;t their fault I would have at least felt better.
Can you imagine turning up expecting a lovley room with a sea or pool view and ending in one of those rooms, and then having to pay to move, it would be the end of holiday before it starts. still I hear the sun is shining and it's getting warmer by the day. We are definatley going to the Hilton probably in June.
