Hi
Can anyone advise of any sites I can look on to rent a cottage/castle !! for the new year. There are 6 adults and 4 boys in the party, we usually all get together for a gourmet (!!) meal around each others houses for New Years eve and decided that it might be nice to try to rent a place somewhere together to go on New year instead. I don't know if there are companies who specialise in this kind of thing ??

Hi, if you just type "holiday cottages" into your search engine you will be spoilt for choice at the amount of companies that come up. Most of them have advance search options so you can put your exact requirements in. We looked at renting a cottage in Scotland for last new year but everything was already booked so get in early.

What parts of the UK are you considering?

Bridd - we are based in Derbyshire so I think we don't want to travel too far (perhaps not Scotland/Wales etc..) I suppose "somewhere in the countryside".
