what exactly is the problem wizz?, is it that you cant find any hotels or apartments that will accomodate 8 people or that you cant book because hoteliers think your too young :?:

Age of nightlife can vary considerably in either san antonio or the bay area although the bay does tend to be more family orientated that the town. You will find that the west end in san an town is predominently full of people around your age with a slightly mature age around the sunset strip part. the good thing about the bay is that you can still get a decent nights kip as stayin in the middle of the town in an 18-30 place can be very noisey

no everything is fine with the hotel and getting to ibiza its just that a few of the group are wary that it is an island for the later 20's and therefore worried that we may not have so much fun because of being totally ignored around the bars and clubs as "kids"

we are a fun lovin group so im sure we'd fit in anywhere and just enjoy every minute of it but i would like to be able to set a few details in stone so we can then decide whether ibiza would be the place for us!

thanks for the post

personally i see no problem at all...but some of the group see older blokes intimidating them and older women not looking at them...i want to ensure them this will not be the case...it will just be an every day island and what usually happens in the uk will happen in ibiza with any blokes and women

i think we're a little off topic now about stoppin away from married couples etc....al i really want to know is the sort of age groups around san antonio and its bay because it'll put worries to bed!

can anybody give me a "typical" age range?

thats the problem wizz, the age range varies around the resort,

In parts of the bay you will get a lot of familes ranging from kids through to grandpa's, you will also get lower budget hotels which attracts people around 18 to 25. the bottom end of the bay has a number of 'younger' style bars where you get this age range.

In the town, as i already said, particulary in the west end the majority of people will be under 25 if not under 21 as these make up the majority as most of the pubs in these few streets are more youth orientated. If you move a little north of the west end inthe town to the sunset strip, again the majority of peeps are in there early twenties but this again can vary considerably. If your worried about the age thing then you should stick to the town as you will feel more at home.

What are you all into anyway, the club scene? pub crawls? , if so the town would be the best

Hi Wizzilio,

In july San An Bay will be crowded with all age groups, families, couples and singles. Most of the younger groups tend to go into town at night time, and the bay does tend to be more family orientated that the town.
I see no problem at all with you and your mates having a great holiday so you can put your worries to bed and start looking forward to the best holiday ever!

Donna.
