The Lunamar apartments are away at the back ofthe Armutalan area, and around a 30 minute walk to the centre of Marmaris. ALternatively you can catch a dolmus, bu the Luna,ar is still about 10 minute walk to the dolmus stop. Mysister stayed there last year a loved it

Hi Wizard, the Kervansary hotel would be at the top of box B, thats if the school is the one by Club Alize, we looked around the Kervansary in 2004 when we stayed at the Cettia whch was just down the road from it.then there didn't seem to be many british there mainly Germans i think. You can get a Dolmus down to the harbour or to walk would take roughly 25 minutes. There are lots of nice places to eat at in the Armutulan area, i'm sure you'll have a good holiday. Maggie

We have booked to go to Club Candan in August this year. we are in the process of booking our transfers but the company we are booking with doesnt take us to candan, could anybody tell me the closest hotels to candan please? we have had a look at the map on the 1st page that someone kindly put on but just wondered if there were any closer than number 5?

Im not sure who it is with our friend is a travel agent and she is doing it for us. what is a shuttle service? they are quoting £50 for a shuttle service on the site u recommended. we have been quoted the same from whichever company our mate is looking at.

Hello again - shuttle service is a 12-seater minibus. I used Transferonly.com last September. I was a little dubious as I was travelling alone and it was the first time I'd had to book by own transfer (usually it's included with the holiday). However, I needn't have worried. They were there waiting for me when I arrived at Dalaman. Once on the bus I only had to wait about 20 mins for another flight to come in then we were on our way to Marmaris. My flight landed at 8pm and I was in a Marmaris restaurant sipping wine at 10.30pm

On the return journey, they were late picking me up but phoned the hotel to let me know.

JUst phoned our friend to tell her about it but she said the company we are going with (still not sure who) are charging £40 and she is e-mailing them to ask whether they will drop us straight to Club Candan so fingers crossed!!!
It's been such a mess, we originally booked Blue Bays Deluxe and after reading reviews about it they all seemed to be negative and although it is all inclusive they only serve drinks etc at certain times and service isnt very good. anyway, we cancelled that and after lots of research decided that Club Candan looked amazing so we have booked with Thomson to go there, but flights are with honour air so we now need transfers. Unfortunately we have since found out that if we had booked the whole trip with thomsons we would have saved £300 than doing it this way but never mind at least we are going!!!!

That's a good price anyway. I paid £35 return but as I said I was travelling alone. The more people in the party the less you pay. Hope everything goes well for you. Post a review on this site when you return to let us know how it went.

hiya cant tell you where on map where club amaris is but can point you in right direction lol!i stayed there last may, was actually very nice!do you know where gima is and point centre?well the road looking up from there, towards armutalan?its about 5-10 walk and up on the right hand side!actually fairly local which is handy, just was bit on dark side lol!hope this gives you idea of where it is situated, sorry if my directions are hopeless lol........!have fun!xxx
