We came back 2 wks ago {Feb half term] and you couldn't have got better weather-----It was superb! Slightly chilly at night but nothing a light cardi/jumper couldn't sort!!!!!!!!

Egypt in Feb, think England in June - without the likelyhood of overcast or rainy days thrown in.

Check this tour operators pages for the sorts of excusions available. Cairo/pyramids and the Jerusalem trip are long days out - the others are more local within Sinai.

From Hurghada you can go by air to Luxor or Cairo for the day or overnight - looking at between 4 or 6 hours respectively e/w by road - Egypt is a bigger country than you think!!

Alternatively, there are always Starwatching / desert Quad biking / submarine/snorkelling type trips available from Hurghada that are obviously much more local.

weather was excellent it was even bearable for our 3 yr old. can get cool in the evening.
