Hi everyone,
Does anyone know any good store that sells windsocks and windchimes in the Maspalomas/Meloneras area?
Hi Arizona Is Malpalomas not in Gran Canaria
Hi Gemma33,
Hi Arizona and sorry but I thought this was in the Goa forum earlier then got moved to Gran Canaria.
most places sell them have a lok on maspalomas beach there's the varadero cc and there are more shops on the boulavard, there is the Faro 2 cc there is a selection of shops there also, i think one is called canarias gifts next to the farmacia on the ground floor and the other i think is called jb gifts, when are you going?
Thank you so much for the information about the shops/stores that sells windchimes and windsocks, we will be going to G.C in late March for one week, I really looking forward to the trip, it's our first visit to G.C.
Thanks again and have a good one!
where are you staying? is there anymore info you want eg. nice resturants places to go, we used to go (maspalomas) 4 times a year now its twice a year
We had trouble to choose one hotel, there are so many fine hotels in Gran Canaria but we simply fell in love the pics from the poolarea at the Gran Hotel Costa Meloneras. It's a little expensive hotel but hope we will have a good time there. I have also noticed that they have got a spa so I will porbably also take a visit there So have you and your family ever stayed at that hotel?
Thank you so much for offer your help regarding the Maspalomas area, so do you have any tips on restaurants? And you can say that we are more to the "fast food" then to fine cuisine.
Have a great day and thanks again for all ÃÂÂÂnformation!
It is a really nice hotel (i believe it is the one on the beach next to the lighthouse) only been in there to have a look, it has an infinity pool which gives you the impression that it runs into the sea. As for fast food when I go away I like to try different food, but the boulavard directly outside the hotel on the beach front has plenty of resturants THE NINTH HOLE I believe it is called do burgers chips etc. I am sure you will find something to your liking, there is also a shopping centre next door to the hotel with cafes bars shops etc. A really nice trip is to PUERTO MOGAN (little venice)you can get the bus (the bus station is a short walk from the hotel) takes about 30 mins, it is a very pretty place with a marina and resturants etc. you then can catch the ferry back to PEURTO RICO then the bus back to MASPALOMAS, the ferry stops half way back to feed the fish and you can see them jumping for the food, you also get a free glass of sangria. If you would like to see a drag show there is a brilliant one in the YUMBO, it really depends on your taste, but it is a show not to be missed, it starts about 11pm.
You dont say if you are a family or all adults, as I can give you more info if you are a family with children.
I take it you will be half board or bed and breakfast if you are the latter I can give you more resturants for your evening meals, do not hesitate to ask, and hope you have a good time as I sure you will, and I will in JUNE.
forgot to mention you can also get boat trips from PUERTO RICO and from in PUERTO MORGAN you can go on THE YELLOW SUBMARINE
Oh, so you are going to G.C in June? That's nice, looking forward to it, right? I hope you will have a good time there!
Ok about the restaurants on the boulevard, I will print this out to have it with me down there. You also wrote about Puerto Mogan, we are going to take a trip there, that's for shure, I have seen pics on the Internet and it looks lovely!
Thank you again for all the information, I promise to get back to you with a pm if I got more questions.
Have a great weekend!
