I am travelling to La Rochelle with Ryanair in mid June, with a friend and our 3 children (3,3 and 4). We are looking for a campsite, not too far from La Rochelle, and preferably close to the beach and town. Looking for a site that has some night time entertainment, facilities for our children and restaurant on site. We were considering Ile de re? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at the Euro -wotsit style of company
they usually site on the larger sites with facilities that you are asking for
Not really my personal cup of tea as we travel independantly but in the days when that was all we could afford they offered very good holidays with enough to keep the kids amused all day

We're heading to Les Charmettes in August, a bit further down than Rochelle but plan to visit La Rochelle.
