It's cheaper for half board than self catering

Hi,
I stayed here last July/August. I stayed on the half board basis because it was cheaper . The rooms are smaller than when you go self catering but they have all you need in them i.e cooker, kettle etc.
I enjoyed myself here , my first week was good no fighting over sunbeds or anything the 2nd week was busier with Germans so the pools were a lot busier. Tingaki is a short walk from the hotel.
The big dissapointment for me was that there was no entertainment at all at night other than a big group of people organising a party the night before they all left.

Hi Sal. Thanks for your reply. We prefer self catering cos we like to eat out in the evening and have the facilities for making a cuppa . If the hotel rooms have a fridge and kettle that would be great. The other place we have looked at is Fili apartments but I think these are a bit of a walk into Tingaki. I'm surprised about the lack of entertainment at Ilios since a lot of reviews state how good it is . Gx

I was suprised as well about the lack of entertainment as a lot of reviews said there was some but it did'nt bother me too much as I really needed to chill and I did.
The rooms have a fridge,kettle,cooker and the usual cutlery everything you need.
We also like to eat out but since half board was cheaper we opted for that option and ate out when we felt like it because we were not losing out after paying for half board.
