How chuffed am I? Went to Hisaronu for the first time last August for one week and loved it - Have now just managed to book two weeks this coming mid Sept for less than we paid for one week before !!!
Couple of questions if I may?
1) What is the general weather like towards the end of Sept
2) Will everything still be in full swing or will things have started to wind down by then?
as your going at the end of september things will be starting to wind down, not so may people around but all the bars restaurants will be open, as for the weather, normally it is still hot during the day, but it has been known to turn chilly late at night, so a sweat shirt or similar mightnot go amiss. We have been the last 2 years the last week in october. 06 the weather was terrible, one night we had the mother of all storms it thundered and lightning for six hours and there was flash floods but I think this was just a one off. you should be ok in september. as kev says it tends to get a bit chilly at night.

My personal feelings are that it is cool in the evenings as the breeze comes down from Babadag, It is really nice in Hisaronu, Ovacik, and Olu. Can't go wrong.
Weather can be a bit iffy the last two weeks of September. You get storms that time of year,so if your planning a boat trip of paragliding you may be disappointed. After a big storm last year when it rained ALL DAY! the open air bars lite fire pits, which was very welcoming. The problem out there is not many bars have roofs!
We went in September last year, and yes we had a couple of days of rain but we also had 5 days of glorious sunshine We also went on a boattrip from Fethiye, were we met a lady who told us she came out for the whole of september and loved it. It does get cool at night but to be honest, I never really felt cold. In fact, we've booked again at the same time but for two weeks and for the first time to Turkey, we're bringing our eldest son who uses a wheelchair. Normally we take him to spain but the weather has been horrendous the last twice we've been, we decided we'd try Hisraonu. It is just such a lovely place and because the roads are shut off are night pushing the wheelchair should be so easy. We can't wait!!!
