Most stores that sell travel accessories ie travel pillows, pocket fans etc ie Boots for instance will have the money belts. (They are usually on those carousel things you see in shoe/bag shops)

I'd thought I'd be ok with my money in a normal 'across the body' type handbag but having second thoughts now after reading they can cut your straps from behind. I may be reading too much into this I know but don't want to get caught out after saving hard for half a year!!

A friend at work says she puts her money in her bra and when she needs to 'top up' her purse, she goes to the ladies

Depending on what sort of clothes your gonna be wearing. I usually wear my handbag across my shoulder and then put my fleece or jacket over the top, that way they can't get to the strap at the back. However this doesn't help if you've got the weather that doesn't require a jacket. (this wasn't the case on my hol last week ) in which case how about an old fashioned bumbag, which you normally have tight enough that you'd feel anything untoward going on behind you. if you get my drift.

we went to Salou last year and had no problems what so ever, to me you sound a little paranoid about pickpockets. My answer would be to take only what you intend to spend.

We didnt have any probs with pickpockets last year either, also its toooo hot for a bra lol
