Hi All,
This hotel is in the F/C Premier brouchure,has any one seen it or heard of it am looking to book for summer 2008. Had a fantastic time at the CSR but would like to try another hotel,am worried second time round will not be like the first time.Any info will help.

I noticed it too on the FC website as you can now book it for 2008.Just key in Louis Tiran Sharm into google and the first return shows pictures of the hotel>due to open in April 2008.Just a shell at the moment by the look of it but is right on the beach.Havent been to sharm before so don't know where it is in relation to anything else.But it looks like it will be nice when finished

Thanks goalkeeper , this hotel does sound really nice I can`t seem to find any pictures but as it is built they will apere. Are you also interested in going next year?

I got a quote for that hotel for first 2 weeks of July 2008 from Glasgow for 2 adults and 2 children and it came in at a whopping £3186! which is beyond my budget unfortunatley :shock:

They are still building this in Sharm, due to open in April 08, I'm thinking of booking for the end of June 08.

Do you think it will all be up & running by then?

Can anyone tell me what area of Sharm its in? I understand its oposite the Tiran islands.

Is there much else around it?
Do you think they will run buses out to & from it?

I've never been to Sharm so don't know anywhere. Just wondering if its out on its own or not.

Well I just booked it for the 22 June next year.

£1848.00 but got £150 off for booking online & another £100 for a promo code 00000483

Upgraded the room to the best available, there is one better but thats only available though First Choice & they are sold out for June, so I booked through Thomsons. Better flight, Sunday.

I think its a 25kg baggage allowance as well & First Choice only offer 23kg (but it could be the way round).

Anyone seen the site? Seen how its coming along?

Is the site nice, I've heard its a beautiful location?

It's a kind of 2 sided beach area from what I can gather, & one side has shallow paddling sea & the other side has a deep reef, so the best of both. This was one of the things that made me choose it & the fab sea view rooms. We have booked the best upgrade available.
How far is it from Naame bay? Do they run buses or is it all cabs?

Great that someone has seen the site.l

One more question, when you were there, how far had they got & when was that? LOL LOL LOL

if its the one at the very far right hand end of the beach path that fronts the csr ,yep iv'e got a photo taken in may this year .the building is just a shell though

I woundnt bank on this hotel opening on time as a hotel I was offered last November is still not open!.The holiday companies usually accept the bookings but transfer you to another hotel if its not finished.

i was there in july still a lot of work going on from what i can remember never really paid much attention, i would think the hotel would run a bus to namma bay which is about 25mins away in a bus/taxi,looked a nice place

I booked with Thomsons because IF its not open in time then I'm prepared to go to Club Magic Life or the Oasis Reef Blue Bay hotel and those 2 hotels are in the Thomsons book.

I toyed with those 2 & the new Louis Tiran Sharm. I was worried club magic might be a bit Butlinsie & that the Oasis Reef Blue Bay hotel I read somewhere that it was just a deep reef off the beach with no paddling AND no sea view rooms (or none that I could request at a supplement).

Kim,Its available on Med hotels website from 10th June for £190 per week plus flights.It looks fantastic and I will look at it for next November.

kim the trouble with eygptian hotel building is there seems to be no rush to finish them it happens when it happens ,personally i would think once the holiday village is completly finished the builers will move along to the louis

Whats the chances of me getting into the Club Magic Life or the Oasis Reef Blue Bay hotel if the Louis Tiran Sharm is not built do you think?

Or will we be left to pick from the hotels no-one wanted to book, with all the good stuff gone?
Will I have to pay extra? Because the prices have risen in the past month, God knows what they will be like nearer the time!
Will I be able to get a refund if I'm not happy to accept an alternative?
