I'm tempted to buy the lease,Glynis.They're asking €45,000 for the remaining five years and the rent is €500 per month.If the owner of the property would allow the upper floor to be converted to living accommodation (already has loo's and washing facilities ) it could make an attractive proposition and,if it failed as a business,at least we'd get a five year holiday and a hell of a tan !!!

Hi Sagres
Called in a couple of times at the Azores bar to see Fatima whilst we were in Lagos last week.
She remembered us from last year and was suprised when i asked her about leaving the bar but then she sudd said 'ah the welsh one has been talking'
She thinks she will still be there in september when you go over

By the way the weather was superb - 7 glorious days of red hot sun

Glad to hear she's back at work as she was in hospital a couple of weeks ago and expecting to have to have a couple of weeks convalesence.Hope they're still there in September - don't want to waste time looking for a draught Sagres outlet !!
