Thanks caits.
Oh I hope they still do menu sittings I think it's much better than buffet style as food is cooked fresh for you.
Hi CMT, you might be lucky as you are going early in the season, i think they only put out buffet if loads of people on half board, you will enjoy it regardless as its a great place to stay
I've been on the hotels website and it looks fantastic. We usually go too Spain, so even though we havn't had this years holiday yet I can't wait as it's gonna be a whole new experience for us all.
there has been a lot of talk about the old block in these apart, and i was wondering if this is still part of the rising star block or is it the sister block the golden star.
the thing is i have booked and payed for the rising star , will i be put in here or is there a chance i could end up in the golden star.
reason being if i had booked the golden star it would have been over hundred & fifty pound cheaper.
any help please thankyou jj......
the old block is part of the rising star( golden star is across the road). we stayed in the old block last year and they are fine. they have been done up nicely and you get a big balcony as well
Only 3 weeks until we go, getting quite excited. Does anybody know if the rising star has inernet access? Or any suggestions where to go for internet access in Protaras?
I'm sure they will have the same in The Rising Star.
Thanks Silverka for the quick reply. If the Rising Star don't have it I know we can pop across to the Golden Star (I know where the Golden Star is but not sure where the Rising Star is exactly).
Hi Tekki, you could check out there website ( if i'm allowed to post it)
the rising star has got internet access in the reception area
They get great reviews on trip adviser
We get some Great Reviews on Holiday Truths too, you can see some
We have booked a studio as there are just the three of us as I don't like leaving the bairn in the room by himself, he doesn't like it either. Are these a good size or should we ask for an upgrade when we get there.(we'll end up pushing beds togther as we have done in the past) We can do it here but it's gonna cost another £500 due to under occupancy, will it be cheaper to do over there (that is if there are any)
thanks all for the info. web site looks good. We have been to Protaras before but the last time was about 6 years ago, well before the Rising Star was built. But have stayed at the Tsokkos Hotel so have a rough idea of where the Rising Star is. - really looking forward to going!!
Does anybody know what the rising star is charging this year for air con. We've got a one bedroom apartment. I'm also thing I have read elsewhere that the air con is centrally controlled - is it time restricted?
Thanks Silverka for the quick reply. If the Rising Star don't have it I know we can pop across to the Golden Star (I know where the Golden Star is but not sure where the Rising Star is exactly).
Just follow the road down past the Golden Star towards the beach and turn left. The Rising Star is just along the path infront of you.
thanks Silverka, thats a great help, know where they are now.
Can anyone tell me about the price of air con in Rising Star apts ? have read in some reviews that some people were not charged ? and I need to budget as I was told it was expensive.
Seriously, I have looked at some reviews, many of which mention air c0n.
Mark
