enjoy your holiday. it is a brilliant hotel
Thanks Mandy, that sounds great.
hi cmt, i dont think they open till 1st may so that maybe why they have not replied, am looking forward to your report when you get back, we go 22nd june
I'll leave a review when I come back or you can PM me if you want to know anything.
Hello all, despite my comments in another thread these apartments are still on my shortlist for next years hol. Can someone tell me if there is any evening entertainment? Think I read there's a mini disco for the children which I know my daughter would love but do they have anything on afterwards? Also, I see there's a grassy area between the pool and sea, would my son who is football mad have enough room here just to have a little kick around with his Dad? If there isn't enough room or if it's not allowed is there anywhere else they could do this. I know it seems like a daft question but I'm sure it would make my son's holiday. Thanks, Nic.
hi nicjw, there is a patch of ground just beside theapartments in front of the nautilus ?? restaurant where my son and others played football.
They have mini disco's in the Rising Star pub, also quizzes karaoke and fun games etc.
Read on the website they have hairdryers in the rooms. Are these any good as hotel hairdryers usually only have two speeds, slow and off!!!!!
Thanks Caits for the reply about the football, sounds ideal. Pretty certain that I want to book the Rising Star...Just can't decide which month to book. We want to go for 2weeks so I'm looking at either May Whit bank holiday week and then the week after (so last week of May/1st week of June) or 2weeks in July starting just before the schools break up. I'm thinking July might be too hot for the children but will May be hot enough?! Any thoughts anyone? Kind regards, Nic.
Hi all, just wanted to update you and thank you for all your replies. I have today ended up booking...11 days in Cala d'or Majorca for July next year I found a really good deal through Thomas Cook so have gone ahead and booked it. It's been a tough decision and I hope I've made the right one, but I just felt that for my children it was the better option with having only a 2 hour flight. (plus I hate flying too!) I'm sure that one day we'll try Protaras and I'll keep my eye on all the posts for the Rising Star. Thanks again and hope you all have wonderful holidays, look forward to reading your reviews, Nic

T hanks
Can i just aske about hairdryers again, are they any good? or shall i just take my own.
when we stayed there the hairdryer in our room wasn't much good at all but the other peoples we were there with was fine. i'm taking my own when we go there this year just in case
