Hi Suddy
Thanks for that info, just over four weeks to go now weeks are going so quickly, just hope it doesn't go so quick when we're there!
Tickets should be here soon.
Had a look at the Waterpark earlier, looks great. Think we might have to do a day out there.
The owner of the hotel also owns the aqua park, and its situated about 5 mins walk from the hotel up a very steep hill, but had a fantastic day out there!
I bet you can't wait... I wish i was going back soon!
Don't think I like the look of the slide that looks like a toilet bowl! Saw it on the video, its the last slide they show.
Says its 20 euros for adults and 15 for children so it's going to cost a bit for the 6 of us, kids will love it though!
You going away this year Suddy?? We've got to make the most of it cause I don't think we'll manage next year, got so many dates next year we can't clash with its a nightmare!
Wish we all fitted in one of those rooms in the annexe, they look really nice. We've got two adjoining rooms booked so at least we should all be next door to each other. First time we've not had connecting rooms.
I'm paying my holiday today ....has any of you made any special requests such as a pool view or anything. I'm with direct holidays and they've said it's not really necessary to pay extra for sea view or anything...but, our wee girl normally goes for a half hour nap after lunch and before kids club starts in the afternoon so while she's asleep in the room, me or hubby like to sit on the balcony and read our book but still be in the sun !! Any advice would be great.....! Oh... the one thing I am dreading is the sunbed rush in the morning so...if theres nothing left at the pool, is there beds belonging to the hotel at the beach, and do we need to pay extra for them (like when you normally go to the beach...2 euros a day plus extra for an umbrella)...I seen in the pics posted on this site that there are some beds on the grassy areas too...I guess we'd survive if we had to lie on the grass with our beach towels but if this is going to be the case I might invest in some blow up pillows !! What do you think ??
We were in the same situation as you in terms of the bedrooms. We had two rooms together in the main building, and although on the small side when fully occupied with three beds, found them to be really nice and modern, with a nice bathroom too!
Rosey1, from what i remembered last year, there were sundbeds available on the beach, and yes they were free of charge. At the end of each day, the hotel staff pile up all the sunbeds from the grass area, so in the morning, its first come, first served (and the Germans tend to be up early as we all know to get these!) So it may be handy to buy something inflatable just incase! As for the rooms, we didnt request a sea view room... and didnt get one! However, the afternoon sun falls on the otherside of the hotel, which is perfect if your children like a nap before going out in the evening.
Suddy!
Enjoy Benidorm - it's good fun there - nice place - went when I was single and a bit younger and had a blast !!
Does anyone know if the hotel has an exchange bureau or are we gonna have to go in to Faliraki to get this done - I believe it best to take sterling (not tr chqs)..??
You should be able to change money at reception.
So far our flight time has changed 3 times. We are going from East Midlands and now fly at 5.50am!!!
Can anyone whos been to the Esperides tell me if the sun is on the front or back of the hotel in the evening? As we are having two rooms sleeping 3 I take it we'll be in the main bigger block.
When we go away we always seem to end up in the shade in the evening, would love the sun on the balcony around tea time for a change.
The sun in the evening always falls on the back of the hotel, perfect for anyone who's room is at the back of the hotel who want to catch some evening sun before getting ready to head out Have you paid extra for sea-view rooms??
We were in the same situation as you, and had two, 3-bed rooms in the main builing at the back of the hotel, overlooking the road and hotel entrance. However, we got friendly with a a family who had 2 family rooms between 4 of them! Although the rooms in the main building where really nice so couldnt complain at all!
Suddy
No we haven't paid extra for sea views, thought we'd leave it down to luck!!! Only request we had was adjoining rooms. Just wondering whether to contact them to see if we could not be right on the top floor!! Just looked at some pics on the internet someone had posted and it looks very high up!!! (we tend to usually stay on first or second floors).
If we had a sea view that would be great, but then we'd love the sun in the evening, its nice to sit on the balcony after you've had a shower and just relax for a bit.
might help you decide. I have taken a few from the 2nd floor which our room was on, and some from the top floor and the views available:
Views from the 2nd floor
View from room 236/237 1
View from room 236/237 2
The same views from the top floor (from the glass lift)
View 1
View 2
However, do note that the two pics taken from my room where in the morning and are in the sunshine for most of the evening untill the sun went behind the hill. Also, i would be aware that there are only 3 lifts in the main block, including one glass lift, therefore during peak times there can be quite a wait!

Don't think I'd like to be on the top floor, my lot totally refuse to ever go in lifts over here so no chance of them using the lifts over in Rhodes .
Bit disappointing seeing the rooms after seeing the family rooms over in the annexe. Mind you we don't spend much time in them and I'm sure once we're settled in everything will be fine. Did you get the proper bed or the smaller bed? Just wondered how comfy it was.
I wouldnt be too disappointed. Yes I had one of the main single beds, and put it one way, it was hard to get out of it every morning!
Just had a look at your photos and they look great. However, I notice the bathroom looks like there is only a shower in there and no bath. Is this correct for all the rooms in the main block?
Also, to get an idea on how big the balcony is, how many chairs would you say you could fit on them?
Thanks for any help you can give me on the above.
Katie
Yes I was wondering that about the bathroom .
Suddy, glad the bed was comfy usually when we've been away the kids end up with either a pull out bed or a sofa bed, so to have a proper bed will be a luxury for them
Just sitting here looking at them luckily theres no last minute changes to the flight times, still flying out at 7.05am .
Ohhhhhhhhhh good, the planes in rows of three, so that means we can sit in two lots of threes (already booked sitting together and two window seats).
Esperides here to come.................. well, in three weeks
Just looked at the weather, and it said cloudy today!!!!!!
Decided to just leave it to luck with regards to the room location, cause if we ask to upgrade to sea view, we might get there and think the sun at the back in the afternoon might have been better. Plus apart from sleeping and showering we're never really in the room anyway.
Regarding the bathroom situation, my room just had a shower base which didnt bother us at all, but our 2nd room located next door had a full bath, so not sure what you'll end up with! The balconies in the main block have 2 chairs and a glass-topped table, with plent of room for inflatables etc to be left there.
Hope this helps
Suddy
Marie - you must be really excited now that your tickets have arrived!!!! Hopefully then we should receive ours in a few weeks time, its coming round quick now isn't it...
Hope the weather is hot and sunny by the time you get there, going to check some weather sites and see what I can find.
Katie
