Has anyone been to Pernera lately and is the Western Star still open? We were there last summer and the locals kept complaining about the noise. This is one of the best pubs we found and the staff were so friendly. We are going to the Algarve this summer but hope to return next year. I hope everything ok as this pub really made you welcome. Hopefully everything still open and hope to hear from someone soon.
