i have read the reviews of this hotel but was wondering if anyone had been there more recently?
thanks
We went to Les oOrangers last July, it was fantastic, the staff are all lovely, the animation team were really good day and night, we had a ball so much so we weren't ready to come home after the fortnight. The food was good i cannot say anything wrong about this Hotel
I have always made it a point that i don't go back to the same Country twice but being pressured by family, alas we are going back to Tunisia again this July, i put my foot down about going back to the same Hotel (although i loved it at Les Orangers) i have chosen a different town and hotel, I hope it is as good although it has alot to live up too.
My Husband says he is going to walk along the beach untill he get to Les Orangers. we really felt that we were made so welcome.
If you decide to go there i am sure you will love it too.

thanks for the reply.can you tell me if there are any shops, restaurants and bars nearby,as although it is a/i we still like to go out and about.also whats the alcohol like?we drink mainly lager and wine, red or white.i've read that the lager is only 2% in tunisia, did you notice if this is the case?
thanks
sue
There are lots of touristy shops near Les Orangers, selling things from postcards to jewellery to ceramics to fake handbags etc. There's a very popular cafe, the el dorado, a minute's walk down the road, and a good restaurant, Cascades, round the corner.
I don't drink beer and lager, but have heard it's a lot weaker than the beers here. For red wine I really recommend the Vieux Magon - I always buy a couple of bottles to bring home. I find the whites a bit hit and miss, but the Ugni Blanc is quite popular. And a lot of the roses are quite good.
Enjoy!
A.
Anyone who has been got any comments?
My kids are 11, 8, and 7 and my husband and I love joining in activities/games etc.

We saw it on the First Choice/Eclipse Direct website. Its a toss up between Les Orangers, or a hotel in Rhodes...
Try FC if you are looking at booking.
thanks for the link, we have booked to go to the Belair at Hammamet for June, though I might go back for September for a week, and fancy this Les Orangers Hotel

I think maybe hubby and I will go to this one for a late break in October. I'm keeping it on my favourites page as it looks so nice without being overly expensive.
we stayed at les orangers in 2005 before they had the villas on the beach. we went with 12yr & 7yr. it was very nice & all staff lovely. we did ask for a seaview. as you cant go to a lovely resrt & not see the lovely view.. well worth the extra. The following year we went to the Iberostar next which was excellent. yes the waiters here where not has half as ploilte & willing to help you like in the les orangers. ( tipping is a reccomended thing for extra speacial service)... anymore info i can give email me....
Thomas Cook also do this hotel
