Hi choco,
been to Zante a couple of times, every trip my travel rod comes along, never been out on the boats but there are some nice fish to be caught around the harbours and rocks.

I never fish the beaches unless its well away from the sun worshippers.

Nice big harbour in Zante Town where you will see some of the locals using a piece of wood block with a nail on the top, they attach their line to this and throw the weighted bait out, good to see the block fly off the wall when a fish takes it.

Dont buy the crap in the jars the shops sell as bait, try and buy some prawns from a decent supermarket, great bait as is bread.
