well after reading the reviews i honestly cannot decide between alcudia or santa ponsa, i would be going with my son whom has special needs, he loves a nice beach and just going for walks, and seeing things of history, i looked at the old town of alcudia, but as im booking it diy the hotel/apartments arent saying how far they are from the old town, could anyone help with that??
santa ponsa is handy as its a short transfer but i dont know if their any thing of history nearby like castle or ruins??
i priced a hotel in cala ratjada but ive no idea where is is,anyone know??
sorry for all the questions / belive me i need this holiday!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for any info.
Santa Ponsa is fairly handy for Palma which has plenty of history.
Cala Ratjada is on the north-eastern coast. Very German. The main beach is not that big.
well after alot of thought and searching ive decided on santa ponsa, as much as id love to go to alcudia i think the transfer would be too long,
There is a brilliant bus service in Santa Ponsa which runs from the center of the resort to Palma. The journey takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour depending when you go. There is plenty to see here.
Have a good time.
well ive got as far as booking my flights for the 29 sept, trying to find a good aparthotel, as id like half board but my sons needs his own bedroom,, so the search goes on, half board is still expensive at the minute,so i could maybe end up self catering!!!!or maybe i should leave it for a month or two see if prices come down a bit,
as for the transfer a direct bus would be great, something ill have to look into, im getting squared eyed!!!!!!!!
thanks everyone for your help, greatly appreciated.
