Not that I noticed. We only went into Rhodes Town one evening went into the old town, it didnt seem over crowded but wasnt empty!! Hope that helps??

Good to see you had a good time - we fly out next Saturday 26/05. We have two small kids - do you know of any restaurants that cater for young kids e.g. play area etc?

Also any idea of the cost of living evening meal with drinks?

Any info would be great.

Sorry cant help you on that as we where AI so never went out to eat.

Where we where in Ixia there where some restaurants but didnt notice if any had play areas etc. And again re costs although we did find Ixia was cheaper than Rhodes (well at least the shops where) as the cruise liners arrive each day in Rhodes Town so they put the prices up!!

Gill, Im glad you enjoyed the Oceanis. we did too, a couple of years ago..

Plenty of places to eat in Rodos, but for the kids, have a trip into Faliraki, or even into Trianda or Ixia. Loads of places, aand cracking food.

Just got back from Lindos, it was very Hot, stayed at the Ville Di Lindos Apartments, really lovely clean apartments. Really quiet aswell not too many people around.

Just back from 2 week honeymoon in Lindos, superb place and the people are really friendly. Out of the 14 days we had 3 overcast days although the weather last Saturday was cold, windy and bleak and we suffered a power cut for the 2nd time in a week!!. My first time to Rhodes but it won't be my last!!
