Mark, take no notice of Swiss' measurements!
Quote:
Nuweiba is basically a flat flood plain, measuring some 20 - 25 square metres

It may be a tad larger than that!

Rog mate, he knew exactly what he was doing. He just wanted to feel more "adequate"! :rofl
It can be very disconcerting for him when in our company.

Yes, I get your drift Ev. Mate. It's the old "master of everything I survey" syndrome!

Swiss, you may have seen Alan's suggestion that we arrange an early morning trip to the Coloured Canyon whilst we are all in residence in Nuweiba. Roughly how long does it take to get there from your place? As you know its somewhere that Mrs C. and I have been itching to visit since we started coming to Nuweiba, but never got there.

In this case i would get everyone up at 5.30 a.m. to see the sunrise and then head off for the coloured canyon befor eit gets to hot, returning in time at around 10 a.m. for breakfast. Reckon it should cost around 10 quid each if 6 or more of you.

Swiss...why do you think they are both prop forwards??
Wild Bunch...no problem!! I will send them over... :D

5.30am? Make it 2nd Aug - the morning after the night before.

...and don't forget the cameras so we can all enjoy the amazing spectacle :yikes

5:30am - 2nd August; could be a plan.

Why not leave a little earlier and catch sunrise in the mountains?

Why bother going to bed the night before?

Excuse me-Rog!!!!!!!,

But that was my suggestion!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is Alan taking credit fot it :tut [mentioned it to him on chat once!!!!!!!!!]

By the way all- as you know I'm not into the footy-BUT Liverpool is heaving today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The atmosphere here is great--------Might even watch the match
Reply
Yes Cilla.... and all the fans will be heaving after Liver get trounced !

Dolphin... now thats the best idea !

Off to see the match on the box.

Two years ago I went to bed at HT and missed the fun ( after most stupidly mocking Liverpool I regret to add )

Dor Dor, I fully appreciate what you say and it does not surprise me one iota that Alan has tried to claim your glory! If it makes you happier we can always agree to refer to the experience as "Doreen's trip to The Coloured Canyon"
I must admit though, I am slightly concerned about understanding you on holiday, as I have just been listening to Jamie Carragher on the telly and I could hardly understand a word he was saying!

It will be very interesting to see how many of you "lightweights" actually get up for a 5.30am, or even earlier, departure on the morning after the big event! Er, can we go in our jimjams? :yikes
You've probably noticed that my previous complaint about Swiss only reading every third word is still applicable. My main question concerning how long it takes to reach the Coloured Canyon still remains unanswered.

The thought of two prop forward serving breakfast at Swisscare, holds a certain fascination, Sheba!

..you'd better believe it Carrot..they terrify me!!

dor... :kiss

Relax Dor, Carrot only has half the story - the result of this comment I sent him in a PM a little while ago.

Just talking on chat about all getting a minibus to the Coloured Canyon early one morning. You up for that too? Return for breakfast.

Actually it was so long ago - nearly two whole months - I'm surprised he remembers it at all...

Ok Guys.... how about.... Alan's Early Morning Trip to the Cilla Canyon ???

And for the sake of the Carrot.... how long do you want it to take ??

You're surprised, Alan? I'm flabbergasted that I remembered it! I do admit, though, that I forgot it was in a pm. I assume from the PSH's "smug" attitude that it does not take long to get there, so I think it could be a nice trip for us all.

Blimey Alvin, you can actually see Saudi for a change.

Re the early morning trip to the canyon, Wen says "tell them they can go ##@&**$$#".
I took that as "I'm not getting up at 5.30am".
