I think what these well meaning folk may be trying to say is if you like somewhere quiet with a beautiful beach, visit Nuwebia and stay at an AI hotel there called the Coral Hilton. Which sounds charming and is still on my to do list.

If you like somewhere a bit more lively stay in Sharm el Sheik. If you read through threads on the Hilton Sharks Bay, The Coral Sea Resort, and the Tropicana Grand Oasis, it may give you a feel for AI hotels in Sharm.

These seem to be the most recommended Sharm AI's on HT, but I'm sure other members will recommend favorites.

I would recommend El GOUna... a hassle free resort, choice of downtown or marina to stroll in the evening, pool tables everywhere [free] for the kids to have a game on... perfect!
