We are in the process of sorting out our Oz trip and was wondering if Adelaide is worth a 2 week stay - will there be enough to keep us occupied? We are going to meet a relative we have never met before but they will be working so not planning to spend much time with them. Have looked on webs sites etc but first hand knowledge would be better.
(We will be in Australia for 10 weeks)
I really liked the city when I visited a couple of years ago but it is not like Sydney where there is an endless list of things to do or see. Much more laid back. Nevertheless very pleasant and worth a visit.
We found Adelaide to be a depressing back water. It's OK as a place to get out of, I'd say it's a touring base. Glenelg is worth a visit from Adelaide.
