My wife and I have just returned from a weekend in Strasbourg and I would like to recommend the Hotel we stayed in.
It was the Best Western Monopole Metropole. 16 Rue Kuhn.
It is a family owned Hotel and although only a 3 star costing around €100 for 2 people with breakfast it was fantastic value for money. The Hotel appears to have been remodelled very recently. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is located very close to the station (but not too close) a few minutes from Petite France (The old Town) and a few more minutes from the Cathedral.
They have no smoking rooms if you require and Parking at €12 per night if you reserve ahead.
If we return this is the Hotel we will stay in again.
By the way we live in Luxembourg and on the return journey we stopped for lunch in the small village of Marlenheim. We ate at Le Cerf
Wow fantastic food, pricey but very, very good.
