same price regardless where you get them from.
my advice is get some before you go on the plane and place them in the lagages that go under.
then if you can find more on the duty free (as if it exists for EU) then get more so your friend will be happy

Purchasing cigarettes for sale, even at cost is an offence. Duty free or reduced duty items are according to the rules for personal consumption only.

Thanks fwh for pointing that fact out but she doesn't intend selling them on for a profit, they are for her own use....and anyway how would custom officers know they weren't for my use anyway flying from/to EMA, we are not talking 1000's of packets of cigarettes, maybe 800 in total....

I'm quite sure that I'm not the only person to do this!
