Economy Car and Travel Rent are great - absolutely no problems there! We've used them many times. Can't really help on Carvoeiro. It is hilly but I suppose it just depends on where you are staying. The main street isn't all that steep. If you could post again and say where you are staying, someone who knows Carvoeiro well might be able to help.

we actually staying at a james villa 2.5 km from carveiro. near colina village. but will still walk it as me and hubby will be in need of drink by end of day.if its too bad we will get taxi back.how many are allowed in one taxi?
