Hi all
Just returned from the Caribe or Careeba as its pronounced!! There are two channels for the British, Sky News and CNN. My son took his portable dvd player and connected up to the tv via his scart connections and was able to watch dvds and listen to cds.
The sea front is only a minute's walk away. The hotel is nice and the food is ok. Good pool area, no towels reserving sun beds at dawn, makes a nice change!

sorry I haven't answered your question earlier, I have been away. There are no cash machines in the hotel.

There are at least 2 ATMs a mere minute walk in either direction out of the hotel.
People do reserve sunbeds early in the morning, before 08:00.

When we were there in June there was none of the reserving beds early. You could get a bed anytime. Its a shame when they start this silly practice. When we were in Lanzarote people stood waiting for the staff to unpadlock the beds that were locked up for the night. Its terrible really when we landed up doing it too because of the same people every day getting their same sun beds and some clearing off till the afternoon. I think the hotels should have like a member of staff who go around, like a warden!! If nobody comes to lie on them for two hours remove the towels.

A bsolutely no reason for anyone to reserve sunbeds in this hotel.Never seen a bigger terrace and as many beds in a hotel before.You can get a bed at any time of day in this hotel.

You will like the hotel, not far from the beach, we enjoyed our stay back in 2007. We were very impressed when we drew up to it in our taxi in the evening, all lit up above us.

hi i''m new.. just wondered if anyone can recommend hotel caribe in ibiza, my children will be 1 and 14, so both are either too young or too old for most things.
only planning to go for a week, half board. we are not sun lovers.

I have been to the Caribe I went with a family of five and we all loved it and would certainly reccormend it. We also went Half board.
Little tip the best pool rooms are the ones that end in 16 so its worth requesting this by email if you decide to book.
I can also highly reccormend the Hotel Miami this is my personal favorite I prefer the atmosphere and location here.

good location.in this small family resort.all i can say from what people have told me.is the walls are very thin.like most spanish hotels.

The sun beds are a little hard, I put a lilo on top of mine then a towel on top of that. But we did like the hotel as I mentioned in my earlier posts. We did find the resort nice, but a little small, we don't mind it a lttle quietish but we found it there wasn't enough places to eat out and drink for us even though we are a mature couple.
Still enjoyed the holiday though.
