I don't know why we are labouring the point the OP has already said that they are accepting the situation end of story.
Last week we had a similar situation but that person has never come back to say what decision they made and I can bet we will have someone else in the near future telling a similar tale.

I was only simply asking if any one knew where i stood with this situation, i wasnt saying that airtours should give be back the difference!! just a few days after booking the price dropping 100 pound i was a just a little chessed!

fair point that you are all making about the dress situation, hardly the same tho we have saved hard all year round for this holiday and that extra 100 pound would of been more spending money- maybe it dosnt seem atlot to some people- but i think it is!

leprosy- u really must of been gutted the price going down buy the amount yours did! could of had another holiday for that!

On the other hand I have just booked some flights to Barcelona with Jet2 and they went up from E 109 to 129e overnight do I mind well it is just bad luck. Could not have booked them the previous day as I still had a few things to sort out.
Sings and roundabouts! Got a good deal on my Hotel in Venice booked through Travel Republic and it was much much less expensive than through other booking agents.

come on guys its sounds like its getting personal now.Chonie must feel terrible for having posted on this topic and it really is a common story about hols prices .In essence "you pay what you pay",its happened to all of us at some time and it will again so lets have a little calm now eh? the main rip off anyway is now baggage under the guise of fuel taxes so as someone already said in the baggage thread we can do something about that together,but for now lets just chill .You know it makes sense
