Hi,
We have just come back from Cyprus (absolutely amazing time and the weather was in the mid 30's, hot hot hot!!!)
Buy your sun cream before you go - it is VERY expensive over there - on average 20 euros a bottle!!
Have a great time.

Are you sure, can anyone else confirm this?

from memory suncream has always been pricey... we paid something like 14€ for some half decent stuff back in 2008

Definately buy suncream before you go, we ran out last year and had to buy some Factor 15 Nivea and it cost us €15, a freind of mine has just come back from Pathos and bought some nappies, baby wipes and some high factor cream for the baby and spent over €50, the cream was nearly €20.
Thai year I've really stocked up with it so I don't have to buy any, although with the amount I've got will probably be charged excess baggage....... :(

All toiletries are expensive on Cyprus.
Ask any ex-pat or service person serving there what they want bringing over from Blighty!

A lot of the supermarkets such as Tescos, Sainsburys and also Boots are doing 2 for 1 on lots of brands, may be worth stocking up now before you go.

Because were from Ireland and in the euro sun creams here are between 28-30 euro so its actually more expensive here than there
