Just got back from Gumbet. Getting 2.5 YTL to the pound which is better than last September's rate. Went to Benidorm at Easter and found it expensive but getting good bargains in Gumbet.

Large efes was 5YTL (£2 so cheaper than home) but they will probably introduce all the offers when they are all fully open. Food - steak meals about 19 YTL (£7.60) but cheaper options also available. We went to Benidorm at Easter and found it horrendously expensive. We were getting 2.5YTL to the pound. We reckoned that when we went out for the evening and had drinks and a meal (two courses), it cost an average of £20 each. We didn't go mad with the drinks but didn't skimp either.
