Has anyone stayed in the princesse complex before and what is it like?
I've been to malia before and I want to know what it is near and how far away it is from the strip and what clubs etc it is near
The staff pretended they couldnt speak English when full well they can, i found this was only to the girls as they seemed to get on with all the lads apart from us. sounds strange but its true.
Looking through all of that, its i situated on the main strip but up a little path behind all the night life so not only do you get a better nights sleep as you cant hear the noise from the main night life, it also is probably the best location wise for sunbathing as it has more space. Its smack bang in the middle so if your looking for night life and are not bothered about comfort it would be purfect. it has a 24 hour bar.5 mins walk from the beach, 60 secon walk to the Nighlife/Bars/Pubs/Clubs/Restaurants.
It was supposed to be self catering we had 2 forks, 2 plates, i frying pan, a sink and i firdge zand 2 hobs - not ideal for cookign anything, so you will need to eat out , this is very cheap anyway.
You have to pay for a Safe and a fan when you get there (if you want one), and they take your passports off you.
I recoment the safe:
They give you room key out to anyone, the people down stairs from us came into out room, they asked for the key and they got it, so not the safest of places, i would say DEFINATLY get the safe.
I had a great time in Malia, the night life was excellent, but if i was to go again i would not stay here. I thought the staff were rude and the accomadation was small and dirty, There are alot more places that are nicer.
They tried to make us pay for dirty towels on our departure - which we never used anyway as they were dirty.
On our departure the mamager hid our suitcases as we were late leaving the room, not nice feeling.the last thing you expect, whn i asked for them back he shouted and swore in my face.
About sums it up!! If your Male, the story is probably different.
Any other info just ask.
