not that I was looking out for it, but I only spotted Mythos in the supermarket and bought a single can as I haven't had it since our holiday in Corfu.

Periodically we come across beers we've had before in other countries but it never lasts. We spotted san miguel everywhere after Portugal (yes I know its Spanish but we were right on the border in Tavira), we also spotted Super Bock in Asda (it still appears every now and again) which is Portuguese, Efes appeared in Kwik Save at one point and now we are starting to see many other beers becoming regular visitors like Polish and Chech stuff probably due to them joining the EU.
I very nearly brought a can of Keo back with me but wasn't sure if it would make it past the bagage jugglers.. lol

I've seen Mythos a lot in the UK.
I know ASDA in Cardiff sells it and also the delicatessen I get my Keo from sells it.

Cardiff Lad which ASDA in Cardiff sells Mythos, my hubbie would love some. We use Cardiff Bay ASDA and I haven't seen it there.

Hi going to protaras oct 7th for 1 week should arrive mid afternoon where will the best place to buy tea coffee and milk etc.? Staying at alva apartments so something close by would be good.
Most of the supermarket type shops around Protaras and Pernera sell all he basic essentials like tea (pg tips etc), coffee (nescafe etc), sugar, milk (skimmed, semi, full fat etc), even biscuits and I spotted marmite in at least one. Its almost like being at home in a local/corner shop/minimart.

Just four more days at work before we fly, looks like we could be arriving to be greeted by the odd thunder storm 
It seems to have gone quiet on an unofficial HT meet up. A few of us are meeting up on the 8th because we all got together last year but two of the party are going home on the 9th so this is why.
If anyone wants a meet up on the 11th or 12th i'd be up for it.
13th wouldnt be any good as myself and pubdog are going to watch Cyprus V Wales in Nicosia.
