It takes around 2 hours depending on the roads you take, the time of day and how easily you flow with the traffic.
It doesn't seem to take any time at all as you see the views, note the changing landscape from the red sand around Protaras to the white lime stuff around Pafos etc... its just more adventure.... see if you spot any Cyprus Elephants !
We won't be doing it till next years hols, I'm busy planning things to do already. Another journey will be Protatras to Limmassol, Protaras to Nicosia and Protaras to Troodos ( don't know how far we'll get on the latter though)
Pubdog I'm impressed ! I wasn't aware they actually existed (long story short..) back in 2004 we were on a jeep safari and our driver was like a comedy act/off road specialist driver/nature instructor all rolled into one. As we are rolling towards Troodos on the main interstellar bypass from Protaras to about Limassol he kept saying we should see some Cyprus Elephants... After saying it a few times and pointing up into the hills we finally spotted the beasties he was talking about ! "Cows" and with a glint in his eye as if is English was so poor "oh yes, Cows that's what you call them !!"
