That is the average price for taxi to or from the airport from this area. Don't forget you will have luggage which is all taken into consideration. Surely it is easier to get a cab from the airport than getting on public transport with all your luggage.(especially if you are not familiar with the place) Alternatively book a hire car from the airport then you can have it for the duration of your holiday. We always use Orcar and have done for many many years without any problems. Also from the airport to San Eugino are is more like 20 - 30 minutes

Bus number 487 leaves the airport approx every hour to Playa de las americas - costs about 2-3 euros each.

Not sure it the bus passes the Bouganville en route but the Bus station is walking distance, approx 500 yds away

^^^ no it doesn't it comes in the other way and stops at the station, but as lawson said its a 10 min walk

Brilliant guys thanks to all for advice as I will only have small carry bag and as we are only staying for 4 days and need to SAVE money we will probably get the busand get off at the bus station
