Can anybody advise of the opening hours or contact details for the large public swimming pool nr the fishermans huts in Alvor
Our 2yr old loves swimming but apartment pool was a bit cold for her last April
I'm sorry I can't help with the opening times, I'd quite like to know myself!
We are going to Alvor also, early April and I was wondering if you could give me some idea as to what the weather was like when you went last year? I've got no idea what to expect or what clothes to pack. Only ever been to the Algarve once and that was July, very hot indeed!
Thanks in advance
Over the week we had one day of cloudy / rainy weather but certainly didnt spoil the holiday
In general the early mornings were quite chilly (long sleeves and trousers) When I say early mornings bear in mind that I had a small child who was up about 630am so this may not be a problem
In the day time the sun was out and in the mid 20s. Think it got up to 29 one day.
Again once the sun went down was quite chilly with long sleeves and trousers needed
In general you should be fine with t shirts in the day and long sleeves / jumpers and long trousers in the evening
Cheers!
Not sure of the exact times, they were always open everytime we walked passed which was normally between 11-5. They have groups of pensioners and school children from the local area attend lessons so there maybe some restrictions.
did not even no there was one ... silly me
The Portimao Council website doesn't show the opening times but there is an email address you could try
